Your data on Hollowtide
Hollowtide is a free fan project. To run the game and fix it, the server keeps:
- your account name, characters and what they carry, for as long as the account exists;
- the internet address an account was made from (to stop mass sign-ups); server logs also record connection addresses and are deleted after 30 days;
- in-game chat (General chat is also shown in our Discord's #in-game channel);
- bug reports you send with F7 (the screenshot stays on your computer);
- basic play data: where and at what level you play, which client version, and how smoothly it runs.
Chat logs, bug reports and play data are deleted after 90 days. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone. To have your account and characters deleted, ask in our Discord.
